DESCRIPTION

each piece is a one of a kind collage measuring 4 inches by 4 inches.
with mat the overall measurement is 10 inches wide and 10 1/2 inches tall.
acrylic transfer is a process whereby a printed image or color is "lifted" from the paper on which it is printed by applying multiple layers of acrylic varnish to it. once the varnish has thoroughly dried, the paper is removed by soaking it in water. the results are an uneven and unpredictable translucent image imbedded in plastic. for more information on acrylic transfer go to literaldave.
each piece is made up of 2 to 6 layers collaged on 100% rag museum board.
